With the 2024-2025 school year coming to a close, our seniors at John Champe High School are taking the next step into their studies. For some of our students, that may be going to the military, attending college, joining the workforce or continuing their athletic careers. Students may not know what careers they may want to pursue in the future, but some know what sport they will be a part of along the way. Athletes at John Champe have started to commit to Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 colleges all across the country. Now is the time they are making their commitment official, sign the papers of commitment to their dream schools. An accomplished athlete at John Champe, Sydney Perez, is signing the papers and committing to Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania to play Division 3 softball.
“I am excited to see my dreams come true,” Perez said. “I have always wanted to play softball in college since I was little and am ready to start this next chapter in my life.”
