Choir Assessment

The John Champe High School choir is having its assessment this Saturday, March 16th. Assessment is an important event for the choir music department as it allows the choirs to be tested and scaled towards a grade. The grades range from 1 to 5, 1 being superior and 5 being poor.  This year’s choir assessment is going to be held at Briar Woods and all of the choir groups are attending.

“Assessment is a crucial time for us because there we can show off our skill,” senior member of the Bellavoche choir group Raihana Mohammad said. “I am very excited to experience this for the final time.”

The Bellavoche choir group at Champe is one of the highest choir level groups having received a blue ribbon for superior assessment scores in the past, they aim to stun the judges again this year.
