April Fools’ Day, celebrated on Apr. 1st, is dedicated to playing pranks and jokes on friends, family, and even coworkers. The tradition of trickery dates back centuries, with its origins somewhat unclear, but it’s widely recognized as a fun way to catch people off guard. No major pranks at Champe occurred, but some families of Champe students got pranked.
“I always play April Fool’s pranks on my family with my little brother,” sophomore Sadie Baker said. This year, we put a dime under all the sinks in our house, so when they turned the sink on, it sprayed everywhere.”
