Oct. 7 was John Champe’s Field Hockey senior night. Senior night is a way to recognize all the seniors accomplishments for their hard work and determination through the years playing their sport. The field hockey teams underclassman did countless hours and work for their seniors. They wanted to make sure that their senior night was special and can never be forgotten.
“For senior night the whole team went to my house and made a lot of coasters for our seniors,” junior Maddie Choi said. “Before the game we decorated the stadium and organized who brought the tiaras, sashes, and flowers.”
During the event, senior field hockey players walked out with their families, received tiaras and sashes, and gift baskets with goodies for each player. It is incredible how the team comes together and does special acts for their teammates that only have one year left with their field hockey family.
