Miguel Beltran is a Sophomore at John Champe High School and is a new member of the Champe Newspaper Staff. Miguel was born and raised in Brunei, with him and his parents immigrating to the United States in 2016. He still keeps in touch with his classmates and friends from Brunei. After coming to the US and settling in the Northern Virginia area, he’s taken up various hobbies and sports that he loves to do. 

At Champe, Miguel used to be part of the wrestling team until he suffered an injury. Miguel is an enjoyer of martial arts such as Karate which he’s been doing since he was 7 years old, and he’s getting his second degree black belt in October. Miguel also loves to read books and listen to R&B and Hip-Hop. Miguel is elated to be part of The Roundtable Review this year.
