Disney has pushed back the release dates for all phase four movies scheduled for release in 2022 and 2023. The only films sticking to their release date are Spider-Man: No Way Home, Eternals, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will be released on the respective dates: December 17th, 2021, November 15th, 2021, and May 25th, 2023. The delay in release dates is, according to Variety, the result of production issues that are causing a domino effect.

The long-awaited second establishment of the Doctor Strange movies, Multiverse of Madness, was delayed from March 25th to May 6th. Thor Love and Thunder, the fourth single movie for Thor, will now release on July 8th, 2022. Due to this, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will come out on November 11th.

This shift in the schedule now means that only three Marvel movies will release in 2022. The sequel to Captain Marvel will now arrive in 2023 on February 17th, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was moved to July 28th, 2023.
