The athletes on the bus going home from States. The athletes shared the bus with Rock Ridge athletes.
On Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th the Spring Track athletes went to states. The State meet was held at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Sophomore Jada Jones, senior Amanda Khong, senior Lana Sakhel, sophomore Kyley Sackey, senior Bryan Sackey, sophomore Ewurama Amartey, junior Aadi Sethuraman, junior Darien Martin, junior Aiden Nelson, junior Ari Awan, senior Aaron Barnes, senior David Kayembe, and freshman Makai Fongyen are the athletes who competed in the State Track Meet.
“I had so much fun hanging out with the team,” Amartey said. “Getting to laugh with them in the hotel was the best part.”
