Every year, as is a tradition, the seniors of Champe leave their last mark on the school by ‘pranking’ the staff and underclassmen. In past years, seniors have brought items other than backpacks to school, placed an abundance of balloons in the hallway, among other things, in an attempt to cause slight distraction and a good laugh. Similar to last year, when the class of 2024 parked in an inconvenient manner throughout the student and staff parking lots, this year’s seniors decided to block the main student parking lot on the morning of June 4th, their last required day of instruction.
“It was more annoying than funny I thought personally,” said Anika Badatala, “I would’ve liked it better if they would have actually blocked all traffic, I think that would’ve actually been a good prank.”
