All the district awards are now announced for the girls’ varsity lacrosse team (shown in the photo above). Girls who were awarded First Team All-District have gone on to be placed on regional teams.
John Champe Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse team has been named regular season and district champions and qualified for states. This season, four girls were named first team all-district. Those players include Cameron Street, Angela Lin, April Kim, and Delaney Neal. And 3 girls were named second team all-district. Those players include Lauren Boteler, Bella Pulise, and Maddie Choi.
“I’m super happy about getting first team all district and region, it feels like all my hard work paid off. Since it’s the first time I’ve ever gone to states, I’m super nervous,”senior Angela Lin said. “We have to prepare for a long bus ride, but I know we’ll do great no matter the outcome.”
