Champe’s Girls Lacrosse has won their match against Loudoun Valley in the Regional Semi-Finals with a score of 14-10. After winning the District Champion title against Loudoun County, they have been working hard in practice, reviewing film, and putting in the effort, which is reflected in their results. Although the girls lost to Loudoun Valley in a beginning-of-the-year scrimmage, they persevered and will continue to advance. The girls are playing against Dominion High School on Monday to bring home the Regional Championship trophy.
“We started off thinking we wouldn’t be able to win the district championship or anything”, sophomore Hemani Mair said. “Our team has grown so much, especially after beating the team we lost to in the beginning, it shows how far our team has come and how our hard work and effort have improved our season as a whole.”
