On May 27, 2025, the John Champe High School marching band held its information night for the next marching band season. This meeting was held in the auditorium, and students who are interested to learn more about marching band and what the next year will be like were invited to the meeting along with their parents. Information like scheduling and costs were discussed along with next year’s show theme. The theme will involve lots of bright neon colors, lights and sunglasses with the title Knight Shades.
“Mr. Foreman and Mr. Miller were acting like themselves and it wasn’t a tense atmosphere,” sophomore Amina Kullow said. “It felt like any other parent-teacher meeting where they discuss what is going to be taken out of their wallets.”
