On Monday, May 19th at 7 pm, Chorus students performed a fantastic concert for all our Champe students and families. This concert was their “pop concert” where they performed some of their favourite pop songs. They sang Reflection, Yesterday, Rewrite the Stars, Ocean Eyes, Apple Tree, What a Wonderful World, I’m Still Standing, What Makes You Beautiful, Bella’s Back to Basics, Misty and Dance. Not only was this concert like any other concert, Champe students celebrated their seniors, making this concert double as their senior night as well. The other students put together letters of acknowledgement for the seniors, made senior stars in the hallway, and senior goodie bags with notes from other choir students. Students spent weeks preparing for this concert and are glad that they had a wonderful night!
“This concert was a little bittersweet,” junior Sree Bethanabhotla. “We performed well, and all the songs were so fun to sing, but it’s so sad to see the seniors leave. They will be missed!”
