With the 2024-25 school year coming to an end, the senior class here at Champe has many upcoming events, and many graduation preparations to complete before they cross the stage on June 12th. On June 2nd, Champe will be hosting the senior awards to recognize and honor all the achievements made by the class of 2025. June 3rd will then be the senior class trip to Hersey Park, and June 4th will be the seniors last day of school and they will host a senior sunset at 7:00 pm for the students to gather and celebrate together one last time before graduation. Following the last day for seniors, graduation walks at the seniors’ elementary schools will be held on June 5th, and for the seniors who did the capstone program, they will be presenting their projects on June 5th and 6th. Finally on June 11th, the seniors will have graduation practice at Champe before they take the stage at the Eagle Bank Arena on the 12th to conclude their academic careers at Champe.
“I’m very nervous about the graduation stuff coming up but I’m also pretty excited,” senior Sarah Pasha said. “I’m worried about all the upcoming expenses like spending money for college and all the grad parties, you get some money back when you have your party but it’s still a lot of expenses.”
