This Monday, SCA hosted a pageant in the auditorium. The pageant had three different categories in which selected SCA students competed in. Those categories were based on first impressions, character, and talent. There were also two small events that allowed Champe students to compete for free tickets to next week’s field day. The two winners of this pageant were Myles Wigfall, who won the Audience Choice award and Gavin Davis, who won the overall vote of the judges.
“Our goal when we created the pageant was to create an event that naturally gave students the chance to participate,” sophomore Myles Wigfall said. “An issue SCA always faces with school events is participation, and that showed up before the pageant when multiple participants dropped out last minute.”
