As the Advanced Placement (AP) exams begin next week, students across the nation have been preparing extensively in hopes that the studying and work they did throughout the school year allows them to perform well on the AP exams and receive college credit. Testing will be administered from May 5-9 and May 12-16. The first week will consist of exams in subject areas like Biology, Economics, U.S. Government, Chemistry, Literature, and many more. The second week will start off with exams in areas like Calculus, French, German, Physics, Spanish, Art and finish with Psychology. Many of the AP exams are hours long, and consist of multiple parts, so students will need to be well prepared and well focused to do well this exam season.
“I’m taking AP Statistics, AP French, and AP Environmental Science,” senior Akshara Kakani said. “I have purchased many review books for my exams and have been doing many practice exams, this time of year is super stressful for senior as we are also trying to prepare for college.”
