Prom is tomorrow and everyone is getting ready to have a good time. Many people are juggling school work, extra curricular activities and nail and hair appointments in order to ensure that everything is perfect for Prom. This means that most of the junior and senior class is taking time off of school tomorrow. Today, Principal Sargeant sent out an email warning students that they must be present for first block tomorrow in order to attend the dance in the evening, and that all early dismissal requests must be submitted by nine a.m. Some students are opting to celebrate without the added cost of dance tickets. Junior Tanvi Puthumbaku plans to take pictures, eat dinner, and hang out at a friends house.
“I’m not too worried about missing out because I’m planning on going to the school dance next year instead,” Puthumbaku said. “The most important part to me is getting pictures and having fun.”
