The end-of-year senior tradition has begun, where participating players fight for survival to make it to the end of the game with the hopes of winning a good pot of money. Senior assassin has been a top conversation with the excitement and strategy that goes into playing. There have already been eliminations, bounties and purge days, all in just four days, increasing tensions and heightening the stakes. 100 members of the senior class are participating, and the pay-to-play amount was $10, meaning the pot is at a large $1000.
There have been unexpected eliminations by friends, and you can never completely trust who has who. Senior Srihaas Vemulapally was recently eliminated by a close friend while having a bounty, “I thought we called truce so I went to his house to hide,” Vemulapally said. “My back was turned and then I felt water and I was disappointed.”
The game will continue until there is a winner with the most eliminations, meaning the rounds could continue into June.
