UKnight and Excite was hosted this week to tour the new upcoming freshmen around Champe to make them familiar with the way things work at high schools. New freshmen mean new athletes coming to Champe sports. In the aux gym, a multitude of sports such as tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, golf, cheer, baseball and many other sports got to interact with the younger kids and encourage them to try out for next years team. The teams got to answer questions, encourage others, and interact with future teammates.
“I was so excited to meet the freshmen as we lost a lot over nine seniors this year” volleyball coach Brian Meredith said. “We got a lot of girls to sign up for the emails, and I’m eager to see the future of Champe volleyball”.
