John Champe High Schools PBIS (positive behavioral interventions and supports) is creating events in the school that are becoming a huge hit. PBIS did a replica event based on the hit show, a hulu original, “The Masked Singer.” They prepared a variety of characters and created masks to hide the singers. Each singer was a part of the staff, from the administrative staff to teachers. Student’s were tasked to identify the staff member behind the mask. Some staff members came up with dance routines to go along with their performance. Students clapped, danced, and sang during each performance and had to pick which one was their favorite.
“It was very interesting and entertaining,” sophomore Nevaeh Son said. “I was very surprised by some of the staff members amazing voices.”
Creating these events based on television shows we all know and love help the students engage in these events and become more involved.
