The end of quarter three is next week, meaning teachers are finalizing their grades while students rush to complete missing assignments. Semester two tends to be a more difficult time for students as summer is right around the corner and they lose motivation. Most seniors have decided a pathway for their future collegiate career, so many are just waiting for graduation to arrive. Recently at Champe, there has been an issue in attendance, with many students having poor attendance records and tardies. With the second semester starting, it has had a huge impact and the motivation of the students of Champe has significantly declined.
“I honestly have lost a lot of motivation this quarter, the work just keeps piling up” senior Kate Workman said. “I’ve already committed to a college, so I’m glad quarter four is starting so I can get out of here”.
