The social media star Trisha Paytas has announced she will be hitting the road for her Eras of Trish Tour, which kicks off in late February in Indianapolis.
The tour will take her across the United States and Canada, with stops in over 30 cities, including a performance at Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia. “I saw somewhere that she was going on tour, but I don’t really know if I would go,” senior Mikayla Belev said. “I think I would rather see videos of it online than pay for a ticket, but I’m sure the show would be really funny.”

Paytas has been an internet sensation for years, constantly reinventing herself while staying in the spotlight. From her early YouTube days in 2006 to her viral mukbangs, dramatic feuds and music career, she has managed to keep audiences entertained through controversy or comedy.
“I think she is pretty funny but kind of in a stupid way,” Belev said. “It’s like you know she isn’t being for real, but her personality and the way she acts makes you almost believe that she is.”
Over time, Paytas has dipped her toes into various entertainment avenues, including reality television, music and podcasting. In 2019, she co-hosted the podcast Frenemies with Ethan Klein, which gained massive popularity before ending in a public falling out in 2021.
“I did listen to her podcast back when it was still running, before the breakup,” senior Mia Sanchez said. “But not as much as I watch her videos on TikTok now.”
Despite a career filled with ups and downs, Paytas continues to find ways to engage her audience. Whether it’s through motherhood, lifestyle content, or her signature over-the-top persona. She remains a compelling figure in internet culture.
“I do keep up with Trisha, in fact I see her videos and posts pop up on my social media a lot,” Sanchez said.
Her ability to constantly reinvent herself and hold public attention is what keeps people watching, even

if they don’t actively seek out her content.
“I will say, I don’t usually choose to go to her page and actively put effort in to find her videos and watch them,” Sanchez said. “But if they come up I usually stay and watch because I find her entertaining.”
Throughout her career, Paytas has been at the center of numerous controversies, whether it be cultural appropriation, her exaggerated claims of identity, or her dramatic online feuds. Even with the backlash, her influence has remains strong.
“I think Trisha deserves her fame, not because what she is doing is necessarily unheard of, but the way she is so many things at once,” senior Denise Fuentes said. “She is all over the place and still manages to keep an audience impressive.”
Fans have their own favorite moments from her career, whether it be chaotic viral clips or moments that show a different side of her personality.

“My favorite Trisha moment was in this podcast she hosted where Terri Joe was the guest,” Fuentes said. “I think that was one of the funniest podcasts I’ve listened to and watched.”
Now, as she prepares to embark on her tour, she continues to prove that she isn’t disappearing anytime soon.
“If I could ask Trisha one question, it would probably be ‘why do you do the things you do’,” Sanchez said. “I wouldn’t ask it in a mean way, but just out of genuine curiosity because there truly is nobody else out there doing things like her and for as long as she has.”
Whether you love her or hate her, there’s no denying that Trisha Paytas knows how to keep people talking. No matter what she does, she always finds a way to stay in the spotlight. As she takes her unpredictable and chaotic brand of entertainment on tour, it’s safe to say people will be keeping an eye on what she does next, whether they’re fans cheering her on or just watching out of curiosity.
