On Apr. 7th, Rock Ridge High School is hosting a job fair that will be open to members of the Loudoun County community, including those within the Champe community. The fair will be advertising paid work like part-time and summer jobs, volunteer opportunities and internship/apprenticeship opportunities to help members of the community become informed of all the county has to offer. Companies like Meadows Farms, Shirley Construction, Loudoun Fire and Rescue, YMCA and Loudoun County Parks and Recreation will all be in attendance. Those going to the job fair will have the chance to present their resume to potential companies, but even if someone does not have a resume they are still able to attend the job fair.
“Be prepared to answer questions and ask questions of your own,” Career Advisor Karen King said in a message to Champe students and families. “We only hold this event once per year, you don’t want to miss it!”
