Astronomers Reveal the Atmosphere in Planet WASP-127b
As scientists were inputting data on Pluto, they discovered an exoplanet that is named WASP-127b that has an unusual atmosphere compared to other planets.

Researchers discovered that the atmosphere contained mostly sodium. This specific element would not be surprising in such an “alien” planet, according to Romain Allart’s theory, but the element was discovered at a far lower altitude than the scientists expected. Researchers were able to investigate different regions in WASP-127b by using the data from the Hubble Space Telescope. They also found out that the exoplanet was found more than 525 light-years away and was considered to be a ‘hot Saturn’ because WASP-127b can reach up to 2,012 degrees in Fahrenheit.
