John Champe Girls Varsity Soccer had their season opener in the 2025 season. The Knights played on Mar. 17 against the Freedom Eagles. The Knights went away to play their rivals, the Eagles, at 7:15 p.m. The Eagles secured an opening season win, winning 1-0 by taking the lead in the second half causing the Knights to lose. The Knights will have another game on Mar. 19 against Lightridge at home to try and get a win for their first home game of the season.
“As a team we need to communicate better and work together as a team more in the games,”sophomore Gabby Wood said. “We are planning some team bonding activities to hopefully bring us closer.”
