The application process for Champe DECA’s 2025-2026 officer positions has been open since last week (Mar. 10-16). Today, the club announced the members who have been nominated as a candidate or slated for the positions they are running for.
Although these members have been nominated, part of the application process requires them to formally accept or deny their positions by emailing Champe DECA’s lead advisors, Mrs. Brown and Mr. Lucas. Additionally, they have an exciting opportunity to look forward to as part of the application process involves them participating in a campaign segment the week after (Mar. 25-27). This includes them needing to plan, create and present a three-minute speech to the lead advisors. The purpose of this is for them to share their visions for opportunities and growth for Champe DECA.
“I look forward to gaining invaluable leadership skills, making a positive community impact, building lasting connections, and experiencing personal growth through this campaign,” junior DECA candidate Emma Tang said. “It’s not just about the position but also about making a difference and growing together.”
Currently, information regarding the campaign process is limited, but an online signup genius will be shared and posted in their Schoology group. The results of the officer selections will not be revealed until Apr. 2, 2025.
