John Champe’s talented choir students had their choir assessment on Thursday, Mar. 13th, 2025. The students went to Briar High School for their evaluation where they started with warmups. Then, the students performed in front of the judges and then practiced their sight reading in front of those same judges. Finally, they were broken off into smaller groups/clinics where the judges would give them individual feedback and help them work on their pieces. The students all enjoyed their time during assessment for this year and appreciate all the musical experience they gained from this experience.
“I really enjoyed the time I spent at assessment and I always usually have a lot of fun,” junior Sree Bethanabhotla said. “I can’t wait to do it again next year!”
