This thursday, Champe and Mercer’s choirs had their pre-assessment concert. This performance is a practice for their assessment next Thursday. Assessment is based on artistic performance and sight reading scores from 1 to 5. This concert is helpful to students as it lets them know how they’re going to be judged; there is a practice judge in the audience taking notes about their act, and what they need to fix in their performances for the upcoming evaluation.
“This concert shows us what we need to work on for assessment,” sophomore Sauha Thapa Bhusal said. “We need to know the things we need to improve on for future concerts.”
