Posters made for the seniors on Swim Senior Night.
As the winter season approaches the end, Swim Senior Night marked a special moment to honor our athletes. The seniors include Aiden Gayles, Josiah Powell, Calen Rice, Thi Phung, Nilani Thanigainathan, Gowri Kalva, Guin Schillnger, Ella Vandergrift, Tima Saasaa, Olivia Mathias, Alena Garcia, and Hrushi Poola. The swim team had a great record this season, with many heading to regionals and states. Many showed up in support of the seniors, creating posters to hang up while they competed.
“I am really proud of the team this year, I think every one of us did really well,” senior Aiden Gayles said. “I’m sad to leave the program as swim has been a huge part of my life, but I’m glad to end it on a good note.”
