Being apart of the yearbook committee at any highschool can be torturous work. However, students at John Champe High School in the yearbook committee are always on top of their work. When creating the yearbook, deadlines can add pressure to the class. The winter sport season came to a close, and students are now working on spreads about winter sports for our yearbook. It takes the students a maximum of three weeks to complete a sports spread from start to finish.
“We have been able to work on the winter sports spread along with focusing on the portrait mods,” sophomore Maddie Zalenski said. “The pressure we feel is mostly due to the harsh deadlines.”
The yearbook committee is not for the weak, but even with the harsh deadlines and the importance of communicating, students absolutely love being a part of the yearbook and the behind the scenes. So much rides on these students, but they enjoy the thrill of watching the yearbook come together.
