This Friday is Feb. 14, also known as Valentine’s Day. There are many different ways JCHS celebrates Valentine’s Day, but how do the students really feel about it? Some students think of it more platonically and enjoy it with their friends. Students would give out gifts to each other before, during, and after school. This Friday is a day to celebrate relationships both romantic and platonic with all of the people you care about! JCHS also celebrates Valentine’s day in more ways than one. The school provided candy grams for students to give to each other and put together a wall of hearts with each student’s name on it near the cafeteria. Both of these resulted in giving or getting a sweet treat.
“I really like Valentine’s Day,” sophomore Liana Harrington said. “You get to express your emotions for your loved ones and can get a gift for your family or your significant other!”
