The NFL (National Football League) ended when the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 9 during the Superbowl at the Caesars Superdome. Now that the football season is over, fans are excited for the next big sports season, the MLB (Major League Baseball). The baseball season will start on March 18–19, and the opening game will be the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Chicago Cubs in Tokyo, Japan.
“I’m glad that the MLB season is starting,” freshman Harper Drula said. “I’m excited to be entertained by a new sports season.”
Even if fans may not enjoy the MLB season, they are ecstatic to be entertained and follow their home teams. Fans are also becoming more engaged with the MLB season because they want to stay connected with their favorite players during the MLB draft.
