Friday, Feb. 7, varsity basketball celebrated senior night at home against Park View High School. They won 65 to 42. The seniors were announced before the game as they walked out with their parents, other family members and friends. The manager and dance team also walked out. The players were given engraved basketballs as keepsakes for their time they dedicated to the team.
“I went to senior Knight to support a couple of my friends, and it was nice to see them play the sport they love for the last time,” spectator and senior Haniya Naseer said. “Their confidence seemed to be growing in the last two quarters, which I think really set them up for their win.”
