Mr. Nicholas Schleicher was introduced to the Champe family the last week of quarter two as an Assistant Principal for students with last names Kurl-Ram. His first day was January 22 2024. Prior to this year, this was the role of Ms. Sargent. Following her taking over for Mr. Tyson as the Principal at the beginning of the 2024 2025 school year, Ms. Hunko was the interim. Mr. Schleicher was an educator in Washington, DC for three years, then upon moving to Fairfax, Virginia, worked as an educator there for eight years. This is his first admin position, previously he was a Systems of Support Advisor.
“I’m just really excited to be here and I hope to help Champe to reach its goals,” Schleicher said. “I hope to help Champe students and staff in anyway that I can.”
