To finish off the school year, the SCA has planned a spirit week before break to bring in some fun amongst all the school work. This spirit week is being held December 16-20th with a multitude of winter/holiday themes.
To start off the week, Monday is holiday pajama day. This means students will be dressed up in their favorite holiday pj’s, onesies, and accessories! Tuesday is candy cane day, all students will be dressed hear to toe in red and white. Wednesday is ugly sweater day, all the holiday crazy/fun designs will be broken out. Thursday is day in the snow, students will be dressed in puffer jackets, hats, gloves, boots, etc. To end the week, Friday is showcase day/build a snowman day. Each grade level is expected to dress in all white and wear their assigned accessories. Freshman are to wear crazy socks, sophomores are to wear crazy scarfs, juniors wear crazy hats, and seniors/staff wear all three accessories.
“I love that we get a spirit week right before winter break because it brings in some fun holiday cheer,” junior Caitlyn Oak said. “During this time many teachers cram in loads of work, having the showcase and getting to dress up makes school feel a little less stressful.”
