Aiden Gayles is a Line Backer for the John Champe Knights Football team. Aiden Gayles was named 1st Team All Region on Dec. 4.
Champe Football had a devastating loss to Tuscarora Football to end the season in the Regional Championship on November 30. The team was able to have 11 players make the All Region team. Aiden Gayles, Shawn Springs, Jacob Franklin, Cooper Fitzgerald, Ty Kann, DJ Harvey, and Brandon Peña all made First Team All Region. Tarec Kaskas, Evan Do, Isaiah Coca, and Landon Buckner all made Second Team All Region.
“Being named first team all region was a pretty surreal feeling,” Gayles said. “I’m glad that the hard work that I put in resulted in the recognition of other coaches.”
