Winter sports have begun, and Boys Basketball had their first home game of the season on Monday, Dec. 9. The team has played a few scrimmages and away games before their home opener and have had time to get back into the swing of things. The theme of the game was “Midknight”, so the fans wore lots of dark colors to show support and cheer on the team. There were a good amount of people that showed out for the team, with students gathering in the student section and parents and other fans on the bleachers too.
Games are a great place to enjoy some sports and to come together with other fans to cheer them on. Kason Nelson was at the game and in the student section, “I came out to support some of my friends on the team,” Nelson said. “It was also a fun game to watch because it was against Lightridge, so it was a rival game too.”
The Knights didn’t end up with the win, but there is another home game tonight, Dec. 10, and a new opportunity for them to get better.
