The swim team posted this info graphic on their Instagram to encourage students to dress up and come to support the team in their first swim meet.
The swim team here at Champe had their first swim meet of the 24-25 season. The meet was held at the Ida Lee Parks and Recreation Center at 9:00 pm. The swimmers went head to head against Loudoun County High School, and the theme for the meet was county out. This meet kicked off their season, and the team will have seven more regular season meets against other Loudoun County schools, before they move onto districts, regionals, and states in February.
“Our first swim meet went great, there was a lot of team spirit and I’m already looking forward to the next meets,” senior Gowri Kalva said. “I’m looking forward to the team improving over the course of the season and watching everyone get personal best times and having fun!”
