The John Champe High School Avalon Theater put on their first shows of the Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespear this week. The shows were performed on 11/21 and 11/22 at 7pm, and 11/23 at 2 pm. The performance is an ensemble show so there was no specific lead but there were many different main characters who brought the show to life. The theater students have been dedicating a lot of their time towards rehearsals and after a long few months they were ready to put on a fantastic show for students to enjoy. The students put on an incredible performance and their efforts really paid off!
“I am really excited to see how the show goes tonight. I am really looking forward to seeing how the performance goes with the live audiences and I really hope the jokes will land,” theater student Charlotte Long said. “Overall, I am really excited for their performance and I hope we have a good turnout.”
