As flu season kicks in, students at John Champe High School are feeling the impact. Due to these rising conditions, Champe students continue to face the challenges of balancing school work and health. For many students with the flu, it will be harder to stay on top of assignments while also dealing with the added stressors of this semester. Local pharmacies like CVS have begun advertising vaccines for everyone, especially younger children and teens.
“It feels like a lot of people are sick right now,” junior Cole Rounds-Raabe said. “Half the class in my Sports Marketing is empty and they might fall behind because of it.”
