The United States has given the green light for Ukraine to strike the Kremlin of Moscow, Russia with long-range missiles on Nov. 18th, 2024. This means that Ukraine could use weapons such as the U.S. ATACMS and UK Storm Shadow missiles in its defense against Russia. The missiles need sophisticated targeting technology, which is presumed to be provided by the Western nations. This decision is being regarded as a major escalation in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. Russia responded by announcing that any missiles fired into direct territory would directly trigger a nuclear war with the United States.
“I think that the Russian and Ukraine war is a historical time in our generation and I think the kids of our generation should pay attention to this matter,” junior Abdul Zaman said. “I say this because we may be drafted into WWIII and this event has not happened since WWII.”
The United States hasn’t responded to the situation yet.
