LCPS is holding Student Success Talk sessions with Superintendent Dr. Aaron Spence from Nov. 2024 through May 2025. All LCPS families are invited to join and listen in on these talks in all eight election districts. Topics will include ParentVUE, assessments, college and career readiness, mental health and more. Each meeting will focus on a different topic in order to foster collaboration, creating a supportive community dedicated to helping students. These sessions offer opportunities for families, staff, and community members to engage in conversations centered supporting student success.
“This event sounds like a great opportunity for students and parents to voice their opinions on certain topics and provide their ideas to better the educational community,” sophomore Natalie Alcancia said. “I know that there are many families that express their concerns on new policies that the county has implemented, this gives them a chance to speak up and have their concerns addressed by the policy creators.”
