The local ABC News will be covering John Champe Knights football facing Woodgrove High School this Friday, Nov. 22nd. This game is the first region game of the year, and the Knights are going deeper into the postseason with an undefeated record of 13-0. Many players also were recently named to the All-District First Team lineup and to other All-District accolades heading into the game. The local ABC News team will be attending Friday’s game as they named it the game of the week and the one to watch.
The football team is ready to play in this season-determining game, and do it in front of a large crowd and the local news as well, “I think our practices and previous games have prepared us for this game on Friday,” said varsity football player Shawn Springs. “We are ready for another win.”
As football takes on Woodgrove at home, spirits are high and they are confident they can pull out another win and continue the undefeated streak.
