This photo is a demonstration of what couples at Champe do in the hallways. Elisha DiCapua is acting out what she sees in the hallways that make her feel very uncomfortable and grossed out.
Throughout this school year, PDA (Personal Display of Affection) at Champe has increased a lot. More and more students are seen showing lots of PDA to each other in the hallways during the passing periods, recharge, and even in some classes. The obvious display of PDA has made much of the staff and students uncomfortable as it has gone past the point of just simple hugs. This issue has gotten so big that last Friday during advisory, administrators at Champe had to make an announcement, explaining how PDA needs to be left outside of school.
“I feel uncomfortable and want them to stop,” sophomore Elisha DiCapua said. “It’s very cringe and they need to get a room.”
