Fall is here, and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. The first break of the second quarter starts on Wednesday, Nov. 17th. It goes on through Friday, into the weekend, where school resumes the following Monday. The five day break serves as a great opportunity for students to rest, catch up on school work, and celebrate Thanksgiving with their families. This will be the last break LCPS students and staff will have before Winter break in December.
“I’m excited for Thanksgiving break because I get to stay home with my family,” senior Sahel Shinwari said. “We’re [going to] celebrate Thanksgiving at my uncle’s house.”
