The student-led support group -PEER (Positive Experiences in Educational Experiences)- that offers help to any students struggling with certain situations, held a fundraiser at Teahouse on Nov. 14th to support JCHS, those who were not able to go out and support JCHS PEER at Teahouse will have another opportunity at Brusters from 5:00pm- 8:00pm on Nov. 20th . Proceeds were collected for Champe all day long, as long as, buyers mentioned JCHS PEER when purchasing their beverage. Teahouse is a boba tea shop, and plans to hold more fundraisers for the Champe community in the coming weeks, on Nov. 19th the JCHS Asian American Association will hold a fundraising event there.
“When we choose places for our fundraising efforts we focus on locations where we know we can make the biggest impact,” senior Allie Kamenetsky said. “The proceeds from our fundraisers directly support Peer by funding our programs, resources, and events which helps us make a positive impact in our community.”
