High School football is something we all cherish in our high school careers. Whether that be going to the Friday night games with your friends, attending the pep rallies, or dressing up for the spirit days. We all have memories from high school football and every year when the season comes to a close there is a feeling of sadness knowing the season is over. Football ending means winter is coming, but some students look at it in a different way.
“I’m disappointed that football is ending because I’ll miss dressing up with my friends,” sophomore Maya Mesa said. “But, I’m excited for football playoffs to begin, and to see how far Champe will go.”
Even though John Champe High School’s initial football season is ending with only one more game left at Freedom High School on Nov. 8th. Students are looking forward to the playoffs and to support John Champe High School’s varsity football team. John Champe students look on the bright side of the season ending which is that playoffs begin!
