At Champe Stadium, John Champe High School held its first Pass Down the Spirit Night on Thursday, Oct. 10. It is the first annual Pass Down the Spirit Night in Loudoun County. The Class of 2025 was honored to introduce the JCHS Class of 2037, featuring feeder school students from Goshen Post, Arcola, Liberty, Elaine Thompson, Cardinal Ridge, and Pinebrook elementary schools. Senior Tima Saasaa participated in the event. “Passing down the spirit to the kindergarteners was so much fun,” Saasaa said. “I loved meeting them and doing their face paint. I’m so glad we were able to introduce them to Champe and make them feel special,” Saasaa shared. Kindergarteners received gifts from seniors and activities such as face painting, photos, games, and sweet treats. Overall, the event was a success, with more than 150 kindergarteners registered.
