PSAT testing will occur on Oct. 10th for grades nine through 11. Students are utilizing important studying skills to pass the real SAT in preparation for college applications. Schools provide a free pretest which is very similar to the actual test. Recently this year, College Board changed the SAT from paper to completely digital. Many students around Champe are rushing to study on top of keeping up with school work. Some find it hard to find a balance between school work and SAT prep. The PSAT is designed to help students recognize what the test will be like and prepare them.
“I’m taking the SAT at the beginning of November and I’m really worried about studying,” junior Maura Martinez said. “I think the PSAT will help me get a good idea of what the actual test will be like and I hope I will do well on it.”
