School Custodians don’t get as much appreciation as they deserve, making sure our school looks perfectly clean every single day. That is why every year, on Oct. 2nd, we should take time to thank these custodians for their hard work and dedication to our school. Thanking them isn’t too hard, and the benefits that others will reap from this is unimaginable.
“It’s really nice that there is a day dedicated to thanking our custodians,” junior Aiden Gainer said. “They work really hard for us everyday and I think they deserve more credit for what they do.”
Our school’s custodians help form safer and more professional environments to help us students work in. By creating better sanitary conditions at our school, in return all that would make their day is if a student took the time to give them gratitude for their work. And more importantly, due to the fact that today is solely dedicated to appreciating these custodians, it makes it our obligation to thank them for everything they’ve done for us.
