The country of Iran sent around 200 missiles towards Israel on Oct. 1st. While most of the missiles were intercepted, one Palestinian man was killed due to a piece of shrapnel. Around the same time, six civilians were killed in a shooting close to Tel Aviv which Israeli authorities are calling a terrorist attack. These attacks are a part of a retaliation effort by Iran following the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
“It’s all just crazy and scary,” junior Noah Habtamu said. “To think that the Palestine war has caused all of these smaller conflicts. They’re all going to escalate as well which means more countries are going to have to get involved.” In the aftermath of the attacks, Israeli officials promised swift and authoritative action.
